The World Bank / LIS Gender Research Award

In 2009, the World Bank’s Gender and Development program and LIS jointly sponsored a LIS Working Paper award.

This one time award aimed at rewarding a paper that had a focus on gender and that included at least one middle-income country.

Michelle Budig, Joya Misra shared the €750 cash prize and were invited to serve as faculty members, and to present their paper at the 2011 LIS Summer Workshop.
